Who are We? The members of the Northampton Jitsu Club can be roughly divided into three groups; Sensei, Adults, Juniors and Little Samurais.
Training is split by age to help improve the training of our students and to promote safety.
The Adults are members of the club who are 18 and above. The higher grades assist in the running of the club and the teaching of lower grades.
The Juniors are boys and girls aged 8 and above and the Little Samurais are aged 4 to 7 years. There are more details on About the Juniors
Just Interested? Come along to a session and watch, and ask as many questions as you like. Everything will be explained about what to do, and soon you will pick up the rules and etiquette of the Dojo.

The First Night of Training is FREE.
You will be asked to fill in an insurance form, and you are covered by us for the first two weeks. After than you will need to apply for a licence which lasts a year;
Juniors £15, Seniors £25.
Done Something Before?
If you have a GI (suit) bring it along, but please wear a white belt. Tell us about your style or experience, many of our members have trained in other Martial Arts before starting Jitsu.
No need to tell you anything, except we hope you have a good session and learn something new. |

Information for New Members
session. Don’t worry we all had the same feeling when we started and you will soon understand what is going on On the mat will be Jitsu players of various grades. Before you may go on the mat, you must seek the permission of the highest grade.
On the other side, the other players line up in grade order. The highest grade is always on your right hand side.
